Ten years ago Amy Richards created Exacta Business Services, having previously worked for a CPA firm that specialized in audits of nonprofit and governmental organizations. It was clear small businesses and nonprofits were in need of consistent and knowledgeable on-going accounting support. In today’s economy that has never been more true.

 

Our clients include a broad range of nonprofit service providers, special districts, start-up 501(c) organizations, and for-profit clients in the legal, health care, broadcasting, construction and professional services industries.

 

In 2009, Sonoma County native John King joined the practice bringing a new perspective to our services. John has worked in both the tax and audit departments of one of the "Big Eight" Accounting Firms in San Francisco.  Audit experience included rail transportation, health care, petroleum, pharmaceutical, banking, insurance, securities brokers, and others too numerous to list. 

 

Beyond public accounting, John has a diverse background including business loan underwriting, performing detailed analysis of financial statements, corporate, partnership, trust, and personal tax returns in addition to evaluating business and personal cash flows.
